Mysteries happen all of the time and they are everywhere around us. When we least expect it, they appear and capture our attention and imagination. Who knows if any of us will ever come face to face with a real-life mystery in our lifetime, but they do occur more frequently than we would think. What makes a good mystery? Is it just because they evoke the curious nature of all human beings? We may never really know, but all we can say for sure is that they are great for passing the time. It’s why so many authors have made a living off of just writing mystery novels and short stories. People love it when their imagination is tested and can run wild with all types of theories and ideas. It’s even more interesting when the mystery happens in real life and makes millions of people around the world wonder about it.

Regular flight
On the 2nd of July in 1955, the Pan Am flight 917 was leaving New York City and was headed for Florida. It was a propeller plane, something that you might see in an Indiana Jones movie. The plane had done this flight a hundred times already with no issues whatsoever.

But this night was going to be a lot different than the ones before it. All sixty people who were on board the plane never expected what would take place that day. Those poor souls had just bought a plane ticket, they never signed up for everything else that would occur to them.
