3. The World Map as Pangea, Around 200-300 Million Years Ago
It can be hard to imagine planet Earth any different than how it is today, considering that we have been living on Earth for a very long time. But that’s where the confusion happens. Just because we consider a few thousand years as a long time, doesn’t actually mean that it is. Humans have come and gone and will continue to do so, but planet Earth with not.
Have you ever heard of Pangea? It is how we refer to Earth 200-300 million years ago when all of the countries were more or less attached in this one harmonious situation. It is believed that Pangea began breaking apart due to the movement of tectonic plates, in the same way, that they continue to move today.
