#22: Durgin-Park
Durgin-Park was founded in 1827 and is honored to be one of the oldest restaurants in America. This Boston landmark was a trendy tourist destination in the Quincy market area, and its food and service concepts remained unchanged for centuries.

Durgin-Park was featured on The Travel Channel in season six, and it was a must-see restaurant for those wanting to experience “Old Boston.” Despite its long history, the restaurant was forced to close in 2019 because it was not profitable (and hadn’t been for some years).
