The Disappearance of Felix Moncla and Robert Wilson
On November 23rd, 1953, a jet was dispatched by the USAF to locate and confront the unknown object after detecting an odd aircraft. The mission was led by First Lieutenant Felix Moncla and Second Lieutenant Robert Wilson.
The jet followed the plane for more than 30 minutes, and ground control guided it. The first blip (the jet) approached the second; however, they strangely converged into one before that. Then one of them resurfaced again but vanished immediately after. The pilots never returned, and no wreckage was ever discovered.
