The Gorman Dogfight
On October 1, 1948, a UFO was sighted over Fargo, North Dakota, by a U.S. Air Force pilot who had to try and figure out what it was all about. On a routine train trip, seasoned fighter pilot George F. Gorman spied something odd in the western sky on October 1st, 1948. Other aircraft pilots saw it as well, but control said nothing was out there.
