Kinder Surprise is a popular treat for many around the world, and it’s very beloved because there’s a fun prize inside of each chocolate egg. The U.S. does not partake in the fun, however, since they banned the candy way back when. People even try to sneak Kinder Surprises through customs when coming back into the country!

Many people outside of the country find this ban to be very weird and unnecessary. We have our reasons, though. This treat is banned because the toys inside are possible choking hazards for small children, which is a serious concern. It is a lot easier for consumers to sue corporations and actually win in the U.S., so more precautions have to be taken on behalf of these companies.
