Questionable Assumptions About America That Were Spot On

Patriotism is definitely something that is a big part of American culture. We have songs, national holidays, and a tendency to display the American flag anywhere and everywhere. While most of us may assume that displaying your country’s flag everywhere is normal, it seems odd to people who come from countries that don’t emphasize national pride as much.

This visitor to the states had actually heard that we’re a bit flag crazy and thought it was an exaggeration. Turns out, they were proven wrong. We really do fly the good old stars and stripes in front of businesses, houses, on trucks…literally everywhere. Also, the gaps in the bathroom doors as seen in movies are very, very awkward.
