Americans will notoriously find any excuse to party. We love a good holiday, and we love it even more if there are cheesy costumes and parades involved. St. Patrick’s Day is one of these huge, beloved events, which is weird because it’s an Irish holiday. This person heard all about America’s St. Patty’s craziness from their dad.

When you hear that Americans love to wear green and drink too much one day of the year, it sounds really random. When you hear that it’s for St. Patrick’s Day you might be even more confused, like this person’s dad.
