Huge Termite Mounds
Believe it or not, nature’s best architects may just be the mound-building termites found in the northern territory of Australia. These mounds can sometimes get as tall as 30 feet but the interesting part is that termites don’t actually live in these structures at all.
They choose to build their nests in the ground below the mound and only go to the mound to repair them when needed and to defend their city from any approaching predators. If you compare the scale, humans would have to build something that’s almost 6.2 miles tall. Termite mounds are also stronger than cement making them a true wonder of nature.
