They Love Vegemite
While the world may not understand what the big deal about Vegemite is, Australians swear by it. Perhaps it’s because most of them have grown up eating it for breakfast or as an after school treat. Quite similar to Marmite (although Australians beg to differ), Vegemite is a dark-colored spread made from yeast and is best enjoyed as a light layer spread on buttered toast or crackers.
If you’re trying it for the first time, don’t make the rookie mistake of eating it by itself or slathering on a thick layer. Vegemite is one of those things that you either hate or can’t live without!
