It’s a Warm Christmas
While most of the world is used to images of the quintessential white Christmas, things are a little different in Australia. Because they’re in the Southern Hemisphere, they end up celebrating Christmas right in the middle of their summer. Of course, they still have Christmas trees, lights, presents, and decorations but the backdrop is more beachy than snowy.
Speaking of snow, Aussies make their snowmen out of sand so we guess that makes them Sandmen. While the Aussie Christmas may be spent at the beach, they do gather their family and friends for a special meal just like the rest of the world. We guess the Holiday spirit doesn’t change no matter where you are.
