Inject some interest
You don’t have to settle for the usual standard planters when you decorate your outdoor areas. If you want to make things more interesting, then you can plant flowers in pretty much anything. As long as you treat them so that they’ll last outside, then they’ll be fine.
For example, you could utilize an old bedside chest of drawers for some marigolds, or take the seat out of an old chair and replace it with a fabric planter. For something really funky why not plant your usual hanging baskets in some colorful colanders?
