B is For Bones
Eric and Andrew are two bright boys who like other kids their age enjoy playing fun games in their backyard. They were building a dam in the small creek out at the back when they noticed a large bone peeking out of the ground. Naturally they were initially terrified when they thought it was a human bone and rushed to tell their parents about it.
The bone as it turns out was 13,000 years old and certainly not human. It was the vertebrae of a Mastadon. Similar to Mammoths but smaller, these ancient giants roamed the earth about 10,000 to 11,000 years ago.
