Prehistoric Wolf
It’s amazing when you think about the things people discover by chance. In 2015, a man and his two sons were digging a duck pond in their yard in Lancashire when they found a skeleton embedded in clay. Their initial reaction was of course one of shock but once they realized the remains belonged to an animal not a human, their fear turned to excitement.
They handed over the skeleton to Manchester Museum where it was determined that it was a prehistoric wolf that could date back to the Ice Age. That’s as old as 20,000 years. Talk about a historic find!
