#28: “I’m Fine”
The stats are that around 30% of married couples pretend everything is fine when it’s really not. They put on a facade of happiness and contentment, but it’s a different story behind closed doors. Think of it like a sitcom where the characters are all smiles, but the laugh track seems out of place.
I think it’s a bit silly to pretend everything is hunky-dory like what this woman is describing. Communicating and working through problems together is important instead of sweeping them under the rug. But then again, maybe those couples are onto something. Ignorance is bliss. Either way, I’ll stick to dealing with my problems head-on.
