Stephanie Rice
Stephanie Rice, an Olympic swimmer, was born in 1988 and has always loved the water. She grew up as a rather shy person, but whenever she was in the water, she would prove time and time again that she definitely belonged. All of her hard work paid off when she was selected to represent Australia at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. Stephanie received the Medal of the Order of Australia after winning three gold Olympic medals.
She and her teammates won the 4 x 200-meter freestyle relay, breaking the world record by a jaw-dropping five seconds. What’s even more surprising is that she was only 20 years old at the time!
