Sydney Laroux
Sydney Laroux is another member of the US Women’s National Soccer Team. Well, she was as her final national’s appearance was in 2017. Like Christen, she played at the college level for three years before moving on to bigger and better things. And by that, we mean she signed with the Vancouver Whitecaps.
The forward would hop from team to team for over a decade before settling with FC Kansas City. At the 2012 Olympics in London, Sydney became the youngest gold-medalist to ever record a goal. She was somewhat of a controversial figure in Canada, where she was born, as she helped the US team whoop their butts in a hyped-up match in 2013.
