Ivona Dadic is an Austrian heptathlete who made her Olympic debut in 2012 in London. She would make a second appearance in Tokyo last year, but she’d rank 8th overall. At just nine years old, she received her first title as an amateur. Around six years later, her brother would tragically die in a car accident, which prompted her to get a cross tattoo.
In the 2012 Olympics, she recorded several personal bests, but she didn’t make it in the top-20. Outside of the Olympics, Ivona has managed to take home two bronzes and two silvers from multiple European Indoor Championships.
