Genzebe Dibaba
Genzebe Dibaba is an Ethiopian long-distance runner who competed and took home the silver medal in the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. It’s hard not to become motivated to be a master of a sport if your older brother is an athlete. And let’s not forget the fact that her older sister and aunt competed in different Olympic Games, too!

On the international stage, Genzebe has amassed 11 gold medals, four silver medals, and a single bronze. Her most recent achievement was receiving two gold medals in the World Indoor Championships in Birmingham for the 3,000 and the 1,500-meter sprints.
