Shelina Zadorsky
Anyone who follows the women’s soccer league should know who Shelina Zadorsky is. She’s a Canadian player who was drafted into the big leagues in 2013. To today, she’s still a pretty big part of the league. Her biggest achievements to date are winning the gold medal in the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and again in Tokyo five years later.
In 2013, she was drafted by the Ottawa Fury, but she would sit out for her entire freshman year. Shelina would appear in 14 games with the Perth Glory before hopping around to different teams around the world. In 2020, she was loaned to Tottenham Hotspur, but the following year, the team offered her a multi-year contract.
