#49: Fahrenheit Forever
Personally, I find it entertaining that we Americans are so absurdly stubborn about sticking with Fahrenheit. It seems to really irritate some people from other countries, but really, who is it harming?

Americans who need to communicate with people outside the USA or who are writing scientific documents will use Celsius. If an American news station needs to report about record high temperatures in Australia, they have people on staff who can do the conversion from Celsius to Fahrenheit. So at this point, the only problem with us using Fahrenheit is that it seems to really annoy a vocal minority of non-Americans. And for that reason alone, I think that we should use Fahrenheit forever.
