50+ Things Boomers Love That Drives Millennials Crazy

May 9, 2015 by Veronica Phillips

It’s impossible for one person to work and afford a home, but our parents or grandparents insist that we’re not working hard enough. It’s impossible to find a good-paying job after graduation, but our parents or grandparents don’t believe we’re giving it 110%. Times have changed, guys, and our parents’ ways of life are no longer applicable in this day and age. Below, you’ll see 50+ things Boomers do or say that drive us up the wall.

No arguing!

Arguments and debates are how you can grow up as a person. You learn to realize your mistakes, how to counter other people’s silly arguments, and ultimately come to a conclusion where everybody wins. At least, that’s how arguments are supposed to work. It’s a completely different ballgame when you get into a verbal fight with a boomer.

When our parents are clearly losing the debate, they’ll suddenly whip out the oh-so-you-must-know-everything or the I-raised-you-so-shut-up card. Well, we can revel in the fact that boomers can’t come up with anything else to say, so they’ll try and make it personal.
