One of the worst things to happen to cell phones is how they all look similar. Back in the day—by that, we mean 15 years ago (man we’re old)—phones by different brands used to be completely unique. Now, we can’t tell whether someone is using a Redmi, an iPhone, a Galaxy, or any of the other million smartphone brands out there.
So, it’s pretty understandable that some people would confuse their phones with others, if they rely on appearance alone. The only way you can distinguish one from another is by their ringtones, and boomers love using the factory presets for notification sounds. If you hear a default ringtone, yes, that’s your phone, boomer.
