All that fancy therapy
Back in elementary school, you would be shunned for going to therapy. Nowadays, people openly share about their therapy sessions and what sort of progress they’ve made, and we couldn’t be happier. We hated the fact that some of our friends were considered weirdos for getting the mental help they needed, and this behavior was taught to us by our boomer moms and dads.
Ironically, it looks like the very people who were against therapy seem like they need it the most. They’d know that therapy wasn’t bad at all if they went, but maybe there’s something about sharing your problems with strangers that they don’t understand.
