Give us a tour!
Studio apartments typically take up about 600 square feet, though some apartments can be as small as 300 square feet. According to interior designers, a smaller living space means having to be more creative to place your things. How creative can you get when there are only two rooms and half a bathroom?!
When boomers come a-knockin’, you can bet that at least one of them will pull out the old reliable phrase, “So, give us a tour!” We don’t know whether they’re being condescending or not, but it won’t take very long to show them your entire apartment. To the left is where we work, sleep, eat, shower, and cry, and to the right is where you need to go: through the front door.
