Taking the scenic road
Here’s something we experienced firsthand. For whatever reason, boomers love talking about which roads they took to get to a certain place. They’ll debate with each other about how the best route to take, which scenes to check out, and how long it’ll take compared to the other’s route.
It doesn’t matter how you got there. It might’ve taken you 30 minutes or 30 hours to reach your destination, as long as you’re safe, nobody, except for other boomers, care. Which raises the question, why are we so riled up about this? Thankfully, we don’t need to memorize roads. Google Maps does the direction-pointing for us.
