It needs time to think
The terminology used to describe computers can be confusing, even to younger folks who aren’t particularly tech-savvy. However, everyone can agree that computers take time to load up, not “think.” But that’s not what boomers say.
“Oh, it’s just taking time to think.” “My computer is thinking.” “Give it a few moments, it’s still thinking.” No, these are not applicable to computers, boomer. Computers don’t think, they follow a specific set of rules, which can take a while depending on your hard drive’s speed and RAM. But what’s important is that we understand what boomers mean when they say their computers are thinking.
