Clean Cast Iron Skillet
If you own a cast-iron skillet, you probably know that cleaning it with water and soap while okay can get a little tricky. Excessive water can result in rust and no one wants that so you need to dry and re-season it promptly. What you can do instead is use some aluminum foil to get rid of any residue and rust.
First, cool your pan down to room temperature, use paper towels to wipe off any excess grease, then take some foil, roll it into balls, and use tongs to gently scrub your skillet. Rub it down or spray it with a few drops of oil, buff away any excess, and that’s it!
