Alfonso Ribeiro
Alfonso, a.k.a. Carlton Banks on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, won the hearts of the entire nation for his portrayal of the sweater-loving goody-goody two-shoes. The Carlton Dance took over the nation in the 1990s, and people were doing it unironically at proms and even formal events.
But unlike his costar Will Smith, Alfonso’s career peaked after the series finale. He managed to land jobs here and there, but most studios didn’t want to taint their TV shows and films with Carlton Banks. His lovability was a double-edged sword that prevented him from working in Hollywood. But with $7 million in the bank, he probably doesn’t have much to complain about.
