You’re probably fully aware of how multi-talented Hollywood artists are. Some are writers, directors, and probably even dabbled in ballet. But did you know that many, many of our favorite celebrities played football during their school days? In fact, some of them wanted to be a pro football player before they even knew about their godly acting and musical talents!

Tommy Lee Jones
Here’s one thing we just learned about Tommy Lee Jones. That guy is a genius! And we’re not just talking about his amazing acting talents, either! He went to Harvard, where he was roommates with none other than the man who made environmental awareness cool—Al Gore.

It was during his time at Harvard that he started playing football, and boy, was he good at it. He joined the Crimson football team and played guard for all four years. The 1968 team went undefeated during the regular season but tied with Yale during the conference finals. If you have the time, you should check out the documentary Harvard Beats Yale: 29-29, where Tommy recounts his most glorious football moments.
