Phil Robertson
You might not know his name, but you’ve probably seen his glorious beard at one point in your life. Phil Robertson sells the best duck callers in the world and eventually starred in his own reality TV show, Duck Dynasty. But before he became a quacker, he almost became a Green Bay Packer. Not really. We said that just to rhyme.
But Phil was involved in football in highs school and college, along with other sports. He played quarterback for the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs for two years before dropping out of the team in 1968. Throughout his career, he completed 179 passing attempts, a dozen of them being touchdowns. However, he had a pretty high interception ratio, which was what probably kept him out of the NFL. Either that, or he was ducking mad (ha!).
