Dr. Phil McGraw
Out of all the 6-foot-4 celebrities who played sports in their high school years, we bet that Dr. Phil’s name never popped into your head. Back in high school, he used his size to stop enemy offenses in their tracks. He was bashing heads before he was healing them.
Apparently, Dr. Phil and his mustache were good enough to earn a football scholarship to the University of Tulsa, but when he transferred to Midwestern State University, football was the last thing on his mind. Dr. Phil became Dr. Phil in 1976 after earning his Ph.D. at the University of North Texas.
