Gerald Ford
Gerald Ford is mainly known for being the only president in the United States that lived in the White House without being elected. That’s because he replaced Richard Nixon after the whole Watergate scandal came to light. And the worst thing Gerry did as president was to forgive Nixon!
Before Gerald entered the world of politics, he was quite the star athlete. He served as his football team’s captain at Grand Rapids South High School and continued his football career while studying at the University of Michigan. After playing two seasons with zero losses and the national titles to boot, his career football career plummeted, winning just one game the season after.
