Lawrence Taylor
Many people will know Lawrence Taylor from HBO’s The Sopranos. If you’re a fan of Jean-Claude Van Damme movies, then maybe you’ll recall seeing him in the movie In Hell. If neither of these works rings a bell, then perhaps you know that he played in the NFL for 13 years for the NY Giants.
It’s pretty obvious that the 6-foot-3 linebacker got into sports at a young age. He played for Lafayette and became the team captain while attending the University of North Carolina. After four years of college, he put his name in the 1981 NFL Draft was picked second overall. He became a two-time champion, three-time DPOY, and joined the 100 Sacks Club in 1999.
