Orpheus and Eurydice Break Up
Sir Frederic Leighton was a British painter whose works were inspired by historical, biblical, and classical subject matter in an academic style. One of his most well-known works is Orpheus and Eurydice, which features the couple. One might be confused as to why Orpheus seems to resisting Eurydice, but if you know the backstory, you’ll understand why.

It is once explained that it is not that Orpheus doesn’t want to look at Eurydice, it’s just that he can’t bare to look at her once dead wife. On the other hand, Varkey had different plans. It still involves resisting, but this time, it’s Eurydice asking Orpheus if his decision is final in the format of a computer window tab.
