Slow drains
Seeing water slip slowly away at the end of a bath instead of rushing down the plughole fills me with dread. I don’t want to have to face sticking a plunger down there or dealing with the outside drains.
You know what, you don’t have to. Pour ½ cup of baking soda and then ½ cup of vinegar down the drain, cover with a wet cloth and flush with hot water after 5 minutes. You can throw your plunger away (well, maybe not, you never know what might happen with the toilet next week).
