Rubbing salt in the wound
The pan that you use for everything needs some TLC too. Once you’ve scrambled eggs, sauteed your mushrooms, and fried your bacon you can easily deal with a dirty and greasy cast iron pan.
You’ll need some kosher salt, vegetable oil, and half a potato. Salt the bottom of the pan, turn the potato cut side down, and scrub it over the pan. Keep going until the rust and grease are all gone.
