“No Dogs or Golf”: Odd Rules That Raise Too Many Questions

Rules that get lost in translation are pretty hilarious. They can also be slightly confusing. How is someone supposed to follow the rules if they don’t understand them? This bathroom sign is an unfortunate mistranslation that has confused more than informed its guests. In English, it reads, “Please don’t in the urinal throwing confetti.”

Whoever translated this sign tried their best, but it’s quite confusing. We don’t know about you, but we’ve never brought confetti into a men’s restroom. Some people have said that the original says something along the lines of “Please don’t throw tissues in the urinal.” That’s much more boring but makes a lot more sense.
