“No Dogs or Golf”: Odd Rules That Raise Too Many Questions

Kangaroos may seem cute and novel to people in the States, but they’re pretty common in Australia. Even though they’re seen frequently, they’re still wild animals and not meant to be kept as pets. Apparently, not enough people are aware because this place of business had to put out a sign explaining that they don’t rent kangaroos out to customers.  

We have no idea what the context of this sign is, but more than one person must have asked to rent a cute kangaroo. We’re assuming, if this place is in Australia, that there are wild kangaroos hopping around the premises. This business can’t rent out wild kangaroos if they aren’t domesticated and tame. It’s a simple safety precaution!
