Longer-lasting creamy ice cream
Who says we can’t enjoy full-fat ice cream from time to time? If your doctor says this, then maybe you should skip this step entirely. For the rest of us, large ice crystals and hardened ice cream is a punishment in and of itself. Sadly, leaving your ice cream on the kitchen countertop for 15 minutes will only lead to excessive melting, ruining the texture of your delicious treat altogether.
Instead, the next time you pick up a tub of ice cream, place it inside of an airtight bag before putting it in the freezer. This will make your ice cream stay creamier and scoopable for much, much longer.
