Keep your cutting board still with a moist paper towel
Cutting boards are supposed to make life in the kitchen a lot easier, but oftentimes, we find them to be more troublesome. Cutting boards can slip and slide on kitchen countertops, and even their rubber feet can lose traction over time. We don’t want to imagine what sort of accidents can happen when the board goes sliding under your knife.
To eliminate the slippy-slidey-ness of a cutting board, just place a moist kitchen towel or paper towel underneath. The towel will stick to the countertop’s surface and underside of the cutting board, preventing it from going anywhere. Lay the towel as flat as possible so the cutting board doesn’t wobble.
