Replace ice cubes with frozen fruit bits
Have you ever come back from work or school, only to find a fridge full of nothing? You probably forgot to put your soda in the fridge again. However, we don’t have to lose hope just yet. Here’s a neat trick to cool down lukewarm beverages.
If you have a bag of frozen fruit, use the bits of fruit in place of ice cubes. The fruit will transfer its chill to its liquid environment while only slightly diluting the drink (ice crystals…). You can use any kind of frozen fruit you like. This works great at chilling champagne while also giving your guests a much-needed burst of fruit.
