Foolproof method of measuring honey
If you’ve ever made a recipe that called for honey, it’s nearly impossible to get the perfect measurement. Honey is a super-thick substance that stays on the inner walls of measuring cups and spoons. So, even though you’re not missing much, you can never get the exact amount that the recipe calls for.
However, if you spray the cup or spoon with nonstick spray beforehand, the honey will slip right out of the measuring utensil. This hack also works with corn syrup and caramel. The fat won’t affect the flavor in any way, but don’t go crazy when using the spray.
