Cruise Expectations Of A Great Holiday VS Reality

The truth is not nearly as glamorous or as exciting as you might think it is. It is quite the opposites, sorry to say. The tender is actually a small, usually overcrowded boat that takes you to the dock.  There is no air conditioning and you will probably end up wedged between people. This is yet another way you will be forced to get to know the other passengers on the ship. 

Not exactly first class treatment but I guess it could be worse.. By the time you reach the shore, you will probably be sweating, covered in seawater, and best friends with at least one of the other passengers.  Now there is something to look forward to.
