For some people meeting lifelong friends or their soulmate on a cruise might be a reality, but this would be the exception.  We all know that we are not the exception.  We are the rule. You might make some new friends and see people your age. Usually, that means retirement age. 

There is no group of people. who love cruises more than senior citizens. You might want to pay close attention to the activities they are offering. That will tell you a lot. If you see anything Disney-related, you might want to run. If you see the word senior a lot, it might be a sign to keep looking
