#25: Post-War Problems
As you might expect, life was no picnic for those WW2 veterans when they returned home. They’d been through some serious stuff overseas, and then they come back to the States, and it’s like nobody really knows what to do with them. Some of these guys were dealing with some pretty heavy PTSD.

Unfortunately, there wasn’t a lot of help available for that back then. Plus, jobs were scarce, and the economy wasn’t great, so many struggled to make ends meet. And on top of all that, they had to readjust to civilian life and try to pick up where they left off with their families and friends.
