Easter Eggs Waiting to Be Found in Thrillers

Hereditary is another one of Ari Aster’s films, his debut film, in fact, that is just as bizarre and unnerving. You guessed it, with a name like Hereditary, this film is a story about the Graham family who begins to unravel. Surprisingly, for most of the duration of the film, nothing is that wrong. It isn’t until the finale where everything goes up in smoke.

This Easter egg isn’t an easy one, but it is there. The Cult of Paimon was in fact there the whole time. The scene in which an external view is shown of Graham’s house, but quickly shifts from daytime to nighttime. A ring of cultists can be seen surrounding the house in the night scene, which only lasts a few seconds. So don’t take it personally if you didn’t hunt this one yourself.
