So which is it going to be? The red pill or the blue pill? I’ll give you some time to mull it over. In the meantime, let’s talk about the biblical connection hidden in the film – yes, you heard that correctly. There are so many hidden Easter eggs in all of the Matrix films, but the Wachowski siblings decided to include a passage from the Old Testament just to spice things up.
As mentioned previously, directors and filmmakers love to include hidden gems in number plates, I get it, subtle and effective. Agent Smith’s number plates are ‘IS 5416’, which, if you have ever read the bible you may recognize this passage. Isaiah 54:16 “Behold, I have created the smith who blows the fire of coals and produces a weapon for its purpose. I have also created the ravager to destroy”. These writers are really smart sometimes, huh?
