Batman Returns
We are so spoiled for choice when it comes to Batman these days. I want to go back to the simpler Tim Burton days where everything had a little more pazazz. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t have anything against Christopher Nolan, I think we are lucky to have his masterpieces as well as Burton’s. But there is just something about Burton’s Easter eggs…

As I said, Burton’s need for flair is what really made his films stand out from the other Batman films. Selina Kyle, or better known as Catwoman played by Michelle Pfeiffer has one scene that illustrates this flair perfectly. Sitting there with her not-so-flattering reading glasses, Kyle looks up to the light and suddenly a shadow is cast against her eyes from her glasses that take shape similar to that of her Catwoman mask. That, ladies and gentleman, is how it’s done.
