The Ring
It is almost hard these days trying to relate to The Ring, I mean, who even uses VHS tapes anymore? Don’t get me wrong, the film is still a highly effective psychological thriller that really scares the Bejeebers out of you. The whole thing with this movie is that if you watch this cursed tape, you will die in seven days – better get that bucket list going…
There are numerous times in the movie that different images from the tape show up as Naomi Watt’s character, Rachel attempts to find answers for her niece’s death. The tape that Rachel watches contains scenes that are later reproduced in the film itself. Both shots of the horse’s eye and it stampeding off into the water were on said tape.
